ParkWhere SG ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at https://parkwhere.sg (the "Service"), a free tool that shows real-time Singapore carpark availability, Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates, traffic camera images, and electric-vehicle charging locations. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the Service. By using ParkWhere SG, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Location data

If you tap the location button, your browser asks for permission to share your approximate GPS coordinates. We use these coordinates only in your browser and for the duration of your visit to calculate the distance to nearby carparks and to plan routes. Your coordinates are sent to mapping and geocoding services (see "Third-party services" below) to return results. We do not store your location history on our servers or link it to your identity. If you deny location access, the Service falls back to a manual area or postal-code search.

Search and usage information

When you search for an area, postal code, or destination, that text is sent to geocoding APIs to return matching results. We also collect standard, non-identifying usage information such as pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and referring pages, primarily through Google Analytics, to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.

Information we do not collect

ParkWhere SG has no user accounts, no login, and no newsletter. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details to use the Service.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files placed on your device. ParkWhere SG and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) to:

• remember your display preference, such as light or dark theme;
• measure traffic and usage through Google Analytics; and
• serve and measure advertising through Google AdSense (see below).

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some conveniences (for example, remembering your theme) but the core Service will continue to work.

3. Advertising & Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google, to display ads that help keep ParkWhere SG free. Please note:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated, non-identifying statistics about how visitors use the Service. This helps us understand which features are useful and where to improve. Google Analytics may set cookies and process data such as your truncated IP address, device, and pages visited. You can prevent this with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Third-party services

To deliver results, ParkWhere SG relies on the following third parties, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• LTA DataMall — real-time carpark availability, traffic data and EV charging data.
• Singapore OneMap — geocoding of area names and postal codes.
• Google Maps / Google Directions — route planning and navigation links.
• Google AdSense & Google Analytics — advertising and analytics, governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — web fonts served from Google's CDN.

We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) or the Government of Singapore.

6. How we use information

• To provide the core features of the Service (find carparks, show rates, plan routes).
• To maintain, secure and improve the Service.
• To display advertising that funds the free Service.
• To comply with applicable law.

7. Data retention

We do not maintain a database of personal information about our users. Location and search data are processed in real time to return results and are not stored by us in a way that identifies you. Aggregated analytics data is retained by Google according to your account and Google's retention settings.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Your rights and choices

• Decline or revoke location permission at any time through your browser settings.
• Manage or block cookies through your browser.
• Opt out of personalised advertising via the links in Section 3.
• Opt out of Google Analytics via the add-on in Section 4.
